Philly Set Go Gets Young Lawyers Politically Involved
Are you a young lawyer? Do you want to be more politically engaged? Learn about Philly Set Go’s agenda for 2017 and 2018.
Join us and our special hosts to find out ways YOU can make a difference in our City and our Commonwealth.
If you are an attorney, judge, law student, or just someone who wants to make a difference in Philadelphia, join us on February 23 for a special fundraiser supporting our advocacy, get out the vote, and political engagement efforts.
We'll be presenting Philly Set Go's 2017-2018 blueprint which is full of ways for YOU to make a difference including:
1. advocating for important state and local issues in Harrisburg and at City Hall as defined by our blueprint,
2. being more intimately involved in Philly Set Go operations (yes –– we want you to get more involved with us!),
3. and helping us build heartier support for millennials running for office (we have some big goals for 2018).
Hosts: Meghan Claiborne, Erin Lamb, Jen Tintenfass, Shabrei Parker, Tom Wyatt, Matt Olesh, Nolan Tully, Oderah Nwaeze, and Georgee Thevervelil.
Philly Set Go believes that millennials have the ability to create the City and the Commonwealth we want to live in.
This is particularly true for lawyers as a lawyer is both an officer of the legal system and a public citizen having special responsibility for the "quality of justice.” A lawyer discharges that special responsibility through engagement and serving as a guardian of the civic and political institutions that give our democracy life.
If you are an attorney, judge, law student, or just someone who wants to make a difference –– join us!
This event is a fundraiser for Philly Set Go to support our advocacy, get out the vote, and engagement efforts.
Ticket Price: $50 (includes beverages & light snacks.)
